Lisa Edelstein is an American actress, best known for her roles in the Fox medical series, House. She was raised in Wayne and was raised in a strict Jewish tradition. As a teenager, 18 she moved to New York City to study at the Tisch School for the Arts. The school was heavily involved in the clubs in New York City and did enough to get recognized in the press.
