Anita Sarkeesian, a Canadian/American media critic who is also a public speaking event organizer. She is the founder of Feminist Frequency which is a website with videos and guest posts discussing the depictions of females in popular media. Anita Sarkeesian is an award-winning Canadian-American feminist media critic as well as blogger. Feminist Frequency examines the way women are represented in the pop culture. In addition, she works to bring awareness to the targeted and sexist assaults on women and as well as other minorities, she is dedicated to breaking down the stigmas and stereotypes associated with popular culture.
