Julia Fiona Roberts, born on October 28, 1967, on the 28th of October, 1967 in Atlanta to Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. Her grandfather, her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer was one of the first Roberts to settle in Atlanta. Her father was a theatre enthusiast at an early age. When he was a student of Emory University, he performed in a variety of productions in Atlanta. When he joined the Air Force and appearing in an airforce production in Biloxi with Betty Lou Bredemus. Eric Anthony was their first born. The couple got married in the year 1957. Walter was a student at Tulane University at New Orleans In 1957, the city of Louisiana where the couple had left the US Air Force. Walter began working for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. In 1964, Walter as well as Betty Lou began production on a local Saturday morning children's TV show known as Bum Bum and His Buddies that they funded on their own. In 1964, Walter and Betty Lou founded The Actors and Writers Workshop. It ran for 6 years. They were joined by Lelisa Billingsley (also known as Lisa) as well as Julia (also known as Julie) during this period.
